PROJECT IDI-20151112: "VIABILITY STUDY OF THE RECOVERY OF DILUTIONS IN PROCESSES OF FRUIT JUICE TREATMENT".
The main objective of the project is the purification and recovery of the regenerative dilutions of the ion exchange resins of the deionizer and debitterer. Through this project, the development of a bi-directional process that allows the retrieval of alkaline and acidic solutions used in the regeneration of ion exchange resins in current processes has been carried out.
The technical results obtained in the project have been very encouraging and for this reason the pilot plant has been tested within the comprehensive production system for the regeneration of the resins, proving that the project has been a success.
The project has been co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Multiregional Operational Program for Intelligent Growth 2014-2020 and by the Centre for Industrial Technological Development (CITD), supported by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness.
